Launched for foreign start-ups by Paris&Co last August, The Paris Landing Pack_Explore will give 9 hand-picked start-ups the opportunity to set up in Paris next October and to therefore benefit from a one month acceleration programme.
In order to hit the target of 30% foreign innovative companies within our incubators by 2018, Paris&Co has started a large internationalisation programme for its offers and platforms. « At this stage we have welcomed more than 30 foreign start-ups in Paris&Co’s incubators in 2016. That is more than double last year’s figure, and we are going to make concerted efforts to double this figure again next year. Attracting international start-ups is an absolute must in order to help the attractiveness of Paris, and to open up new opportunities for Paris start-ups from the city itself by easing the crossover of the entrepreneurs’ networks. », Karine Bidart, co-CEO of Paris&Co said.
It is in this light that the economic and innovation development company has developed the Paris Landing Pack_Explore, a turnkey solution which provides accelerated and intensive integration into the Parisian innovation networks:
- A dedicated office and 24/7 access in a Paris&Co incubator
- A month of accelerated programmes through numerous workshops on multi-cultural management, administrative and legal issues in France
- Numerous networking events organised by the agency
- Some advice to relocate the managing director to Paris (housing, international mobility…)
This one month long programme takes place 3 times a year, in March, from mid-May to mid-June and in October, in order to respond to the start-ups’ need for flexibility.
Indeed, Paris&Co incubators will open their doors and have an intensive programme for these start-ups in order to test their services and / or products on the French market through a series of dedicated workshops. Start-ups also have the opportunity to develop business opportunities with key players in the Parisian ecosystem through various networking events. Each session ends with a Demo Day where seasoned entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch to an audience of investors and large accounts.
