Le Tremplin, the City of Paris innovation springboard for the sports sector, created by Paris&Co in November 2014, is now launching its second call for applications. This second wave of start-ups will be nurtured at the Jean Bouin Stadium (16th arrondissement) from Summer 2016.
Ranked as a global leader in "innovation and intellectual capital" and the host city to numerous international sports competitions, Paris is the first city in the world to have created a business incubator dedicated solely to innovation in the sports sector.
Le Tremplin has already enabled its first wave of 17 start-ups to develop unique solutions and products, and to consolidate their business models, thanks to a solid programme of support. Many of them have received awards, raised funds, recruited new customers and partners, and hired new staff (for more information see http://www.letremplin.paris/category/news). The majority will, once again, be supported by Le Tremplin this year.
Building on this success, Le Tremplin will once more give the opportunity to around 20 new start-ups to grow their businesses in segments such as big data, events, practice equipment, performance improvement tools, geolocation, infrastructure, "cyber sports", sport for health, sports products, media, disabled sport, social media, etc.
Applications must be submitted by 13 February 2016 on: http://pic.agorize.com/fr/challenges/le-tremplin-2016
Four criteria will be examined closely when selecting the candidates:
