10.11.2015

Microsoft continues to invest in France: 70 million euros spent in 3 years for the start-ups of La FrenchTech and 13 million euros contributed to the national plan to provide schools with IT equipment.

During her second visit to France, Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, met with the French President, François Hollande. This meeting was an opportunity to reaffirm that Microsoft will continue to invest in France, thus highlighting the appeal of France for the technology sector. In particular, Microsoft is increasing its support for the development of the digital ecosystem of La French Tech and is confirming a partnership with the Ministry of Education that will contribute to the success of the national plan to provide schools with IT equipment.

"All the start-ups of La French Tech are eligible and the scheme notably includes an exclusive offering of aid in the form of technological credits, which was developed with 10 partner accelerators throughout all of France. This new investment by Microsoft France to support start-ups is worth 70 million euros", said Alain Crozier, Chairman of Microsoft France
